In the Antique Times, there was an influential oracle in Delphi, Greece. If you had a burning question, which needed an answer, you could travel up to the Temple. You would ask your question there, and the woman priest would go in trance, seeking contact with the God Apollo. Then, she would give you the answer you needed to hear.
